Hydrolyzed Keratin

Hydrolyzed keratin is a structural, fibrous, water-insoluble protein found in epithelial cells lining the internal and external surfaces of the body. It forms a compact barrier layer after coating the wound, which can stop bleeding and prevent damage to epithelial cells.

Together with sodium alginate, it helps protect the gastric mucosa.

Sodium Alginate

Together with hydrolyzed keratin, it helps protect the gastric mucosa by forming a physical barrier generated by an alginate reaction at the acidic pH of the stomach.

Dried leaves of Aloe barbadensis1,2

Known for their antioxidant and cell-healing properties, they help facilitate wound healing by regulating proteases (matrix metalloproteinases), modulating collagen production, cell migration, and proliferation. They contribute to reducing inflammation.

Zinc3,4

Zinc is one of the most important trace elements for animal health. It performs more than 300 biological functions and affects multiple systems, including the gastrointestinal tract. Zinc is not stored in the body, so its level is determined by the balance between dietary intake, absorption, and losses.

It contributes to protecting cells from oxidative damage.

Hyaluronic Acid5

It has viscoelastic, lubricating, and moisturizing properties that provide a suitable environment for epithelial cells, contributing, along with chondroitin sulfate, to their recovery.

Chondroitin Sulfate

It is a substance naturally present in the body that helps with gastrointestinal imbalances.

Gastrointestinal Balance in Dogs

The gastrointestinal system plays a vital role in animal health, and gastrointestinal imbalances can have significant consequences:

Damage to the mucosal barrier

These imbalances weaken the protective barrier of the gastric mucosa, allowing gastric juices to have harmful effects directly on the internal surfaces of the stomach and other organs, such as the small intestine.

Complications in digestion and nutrient absorption

Alteration of the mucosal barrier can interfere with proper digestion and absorption of nutrients, resulting in symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, loss of appetite, etc.

Discomfort and Pain

In addition to digestive problems, these imbalances can cause discomfort and pain in dogs and cats. This results in symptoms such as excessive salivation, constant lip licking, and food refusal (loss of appetite and even dehydration).

Veterinary attention is essential to address these imbalances and ensure gastrointestinal well-being in your pets.

How Vetgastril Plus Helps Your Pet's Gastrointestinal Health

Protection of the Gastric and Esophageal Mucosa

Vetgastril Plus provides nutrients that contribute to strengthening and protecting the gastric and esophageal mucosa. This is essential, as these surfaces are the first line of defense against the harmful effects of gastric contents.

Optimal Digestion and Absorption

Promotes digestion and nutrient absorption, preventing problems such as vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite.

Maintains Digestive Health

Its special composition contributes to protecting the gastric and esophageal mucosa, which are fundamental components in the defense of the digestive system. By maintaining the health of these surfaces, it helps ensure optimal digestive function, resulting in adequate digestion and nutrient absorption.

Support in Digestive System Disorders:

Vetgastril Plus, with its nutrients, supports situations where pets may experience gastrointestinal discomforts such as diarrhea and vomiting.

Consult your veterinarian

"At Pharmadiet, we encourage all pet owners to maintain a close relationship with their trusted veterinarian.

Regular consultations with veterinary professionals are fundamental for preventive care, early diagnosis of health problems, and planning appropriate treatments.

Through our close collaboration with these experts, we work together to keep your animal companions in their best health, ensuring a full and active life for them."
