Attapulgite

It is a crystalline hydrated aluminum and magnesium silicate that gives it its colloidal and adsorbent properties. It is a mineral that has a high capacity for adsorption of fluids, toxins, and microorganisms.

Prebiotics FOS1,2 (Fructo-oligosaccharides) and MOS3 (Brewer's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae))

They are non-digestible oligosaccharides derived from fructose (FOS) and mannose (MOS) that contribute to the consistency of the stools. They are also known to contribute to modulating the animal's immune response. These non-digestible oligosaccharides derived from fructose (FOS) and mannose (MOS) contribute to stool consistency. Prebiotics FOS1,2 (Fructo-oligosacáridos) y FOS3 (Levadura de cerveza (Saccharomyces cerevisae))

Enterococcus faecium FOS4,5

Probiotic that helps rebalance the intestinal microflora by displacing pathogenic microorganisms and improving the immune response.

Cloruro potásico y Cloruro sódico

Oral potassium intake helps prevent possible adverse effects resulting from potassium loss during diarrheal processes. Together with Zinc, they prevent dehydration in pets.

Zinc6,7

Mineral that helps decrease the severity of acute and chronic diarrhea, protects cells from oxidative damage, and supports the normal functioning of the immune system.

Diarrhea in dogs and cats: a problem to control.

Controlling diarrhea in pets is essential to ensure the gastrointestinal health of your pets, as this can be a health problem that leads to other scenarios. The three most common causes of diarrhea are:

Acute diarrhea of bacterial or parasitic origin:

Acute diarrhea caused by bacterial or intestinal parasites.

Post-treatment in viral infections:

After receiving treatment for viral infections, cats and dogs may experience diarrhea.

Diarrhea caused by antibiotics, stress, dietary changes, etc.:

These factors, along with others such as food intolerances, can trigger episodes of diarrhea.

Episodes of diarrhea in dogs and cats can lead to dehydration, loss of essential nutrients, loss of appetite, imbalances in the microbiome, inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, etc.

It is essential to address acute diarrhea effectively to prevent complications. Just like keeping pets hydrated, providing a proper diet, and seeking advice from a veterinarian.

How does the Daforte complementary feed for dogs and cats help your pet's gastrointestinal health?

Its nutrients help to stabilise the intestinal flora of dogs and cats.
